Valmalenco is known for being a perfect ski resort for beginners and intermediate skiers as it offers ideal terrain to practice technique and learn the tricks to become a proficient skier or snowboarder.

Looking for a challenge or bigger resorts? Valmalenco is close to a number of ski meccas like Bormio and Livigno (2026 winter games venues), or Saint Moritz in Switzerland.

Stefano, our guide, will be your instructor whether you want to improve your ski or snowboard technique. He has over 25 years of international experience, teaching in iconic resorts such as Val d’Isère, Whistler, St. Moritz, Courchevel, Verbier, Chamonix.

Pricing

Pricing below is per person. Supplemental rates apply for additional participants.

Low season:
€ 45 Euro/hour (about $72 CAD)

High season:
€ 55 Euro/hour (about $88 CAD)

Daily fee:
€ 300 Euro (about $480 CAD)

Stefano teaches skiing and snowboarding using a proven, personal method that he has developed over 25 years working globally.

When the snow is deep, he loves to take clients on exhilarating ski and snowboarding adventures. He perfected his powder skiing and snowboarding during years in Canada, especially in Whistler, British Columbia. His connection to Canadian deep snow was so profound that he called the region home for over a decade.

Whether you want to perfect your technique on groomed runs or freeriding off-piste, Stefano will help you refine your skills and guide you to the best snow.

He will align every lesson with your specific goals and can accommodate private one-on-one lesson for maximum improvement as well as group session so you can enjoy progressing with your friends.

  • Transportation to and from the arrival and departure location as indicated in the Itinerary. However, we can arrange this for you if you like.

  • Optional gratuities to trip leaders or staff.

  • All beverages such as beer, wine, coffee, sodas, and bottled water are not included unless specified in the meal’s menu.

To ensure you can fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the Alps, we strongly recommend that all guests carry comprehensive travel insurance. For our adventures, please ensure your policy covers outdoor sports and mountain rescue for altitudes up to 5,000m.

We are updating our specialized gear lists and we will publish them for each adventure soon.

In any case, we will email you a gear packing list after you book your trip.

We strongly advise you to let us know about any allergies, food or others, that may pose a health risk for you during your trip. This affects your own safety as well as of the whole group.

As for dietary preferences, please let us know as well ahead of time as we have to arrange for alternatives with the hut custodians.
